The lighting is wonderful. Her expression is natural and thought provoking, making you want o know what she is looking at. The background is well chosen to contrast her skin tone and draw your line of sight directly to her eyes. Her eye color is very prominent and not bright without being washed out by the lighting. The only negative I see is that the makeup around her is eyes is just a tad much for my liking and creates a slightly too dark under eye shadow.

Overall a beautiful image that is easily on par with any mainstream fashion photographer.

I love the simplistic nature of this photograph. I'm glad you went with little color. I think too much might have taken away her natural beauty altogether.

Overall, wonderful piece, I like it. If there were a beauty category, this would be in there for sure. Makeup needs a little bit more work to give it that smokey look, the picture is still to dark on the edges. Smudging it a bit will soften it yet keep it dark for the beautiful effect is gives. The eye lash on the right eye, my right, has to be replaced. Did someone cut it to fit and ruined it and still used it? the one on them left is perfect. The curve looks like lashes should look. When fixing size on lashes, you always cut from the outside. Beautiful work. :kitty: w00t:
